Using Twig in Wordpress to enhance the Editor Experience
With Drupal 8 we use the Twig architecture as its templating language. With the Timber plugin, we can utilize the same twig templating in Wordpress. In this session, we will review how to add Advanced Custom Fields and Timber to build custom landing pages. We will also cover the Cloning technique for building a library of basic components. Finally, we will show a custom plugin to assist you in giving your Editors a clean UI for administering content.
This session would be beneficial if you know how Wordpress implements Themes and Plugins. A knowledge of Advanced Custom Fields would be helpful but is not necessary.

This concept was introduced at a Drupal Meetup in Philadelphia, February 5th.
